my story.
Growing up I was taught to go to school, get a quality education and then try and find a “good” job. I committed myself to that formula and became an executive in Corporate America. A place that unfortunately left me feeling unfulfilled and depressed. While I was earning a six-figure income, I was still living paycheck to paycheck. My days were spent rotting away inside a windowless cubicle for 12-14 hours a day. When I wasn’t trapped in that tiny spot with bad air conditioning I wasted away in meetings about meeting and calls so boring that I would have rather watched cement dry. I lost my passion for my job and it quickly drained my ambition. As I went to bed each night I literally dreaded going to work the next morning, sometimes to the point of tears. I was BROKE. I was mentally, physically, and financially broke. My spirit was crushed by the corporate lifestyle, and discomfort turned to despair and anger.
After 15 years of this life-sapping boredom I had enough. I knew that needed to get out of this awful place. After one particularly depressing day I decided to take control of my life. I decided that I wanted to work when I wanted, where I wanted, and with whomever I wanted. I didn’t want to have to ask permission to take vacation like a child asks permission to use the bathroom. I wanted to live life on my own terms. In 2012 I launched a home based business and became a brand ambassador for one of the leading direct sales companies in the country.
Within one year, I became one of the top 20 earners in my company, helping thousands of other people escape the same trap I was in and start their own businesses. I became so successful that I created well over $1,000,000 in income through my business within 2.5 years and I retired at the age of 35! I could finally live life the way I wanted without a boss breathing down my neck to get the next report done. I discovered the secrets for living the GOOD LIFE.
